God's Way Fellowship

                                                   GOD'S WAY FELLOWSHIP

God's Way Fellowship on Tanasee Gap Road in Balsam Grove is a nondenominational congregation devoted to biblical teaching. This family friendly fellowship with a community service outreach has prospered since 2003.  Services are casual with strong emphasis on music and individual testimony. This congregation stresses personal accountability to God through Jesus Christ.  The pastor is David Perry.  Sunday services begin with open Bible study at 10am followed by worship at 11am.  Small group studies and prayer meetings are on a varied schedule weekly.

The current building is a log structure originally built to house Emmanuel Assembly of God, founded by Rev. Ray Von Galloway in 1993.  After the original church folded in 2005, God's Way began use of the building under a lease arrangement and then later through a purchase agreement with the NC District Assemblies of God.

Today, the church hosts a community based food ministry. God's Way Food Pantry has an all volunteer staff and distributes weekly to those in need of food assistance. Supported by churches, organizations, and individuals from across the area, this work has helped to bring many together for the purpose of "neighbors helping neighbors."  This congregation has been thrilled to be used to strengthen communities in this remote area of Transylvania County.
