May 18: Exploring West Main
Explore Brevard’s architecture and economy during the Roaring 1920s. The tour departs from the Heritage Museum at 10:30 a.m.

June 15:  Silvermont and East Main
Stroll through the Historic East Main Street neighborhood, starting at Silvermont Mansion. The tour departs from the Silvermont front porch at 10:30 am.

July 20:  The Brevard School Tour
Revisit the time when Brevard’s schools were located downtown. Meet behind the County Administration Building on Morgan Street at 10:30 am.

Learn about the structures and businesses of East Main Street. The tour departs from St. Philip’s Church at 10:30 am.

September 21: The Rosenwald Community
Tour the Mary C. Jenkins Community Center and learn about Black History and the Historic Rosenwald Community. Meet at the Mary C. Jenkins Community Center at 10:30 am.

October 19: The Town of Rosman  An established community by the turn of the 19th century, the Town of Rosman has a fascinating history. Come learn about the Queen City of Transylvania. Departs from the Rosman Town Hall at 10:30 am.

October 26:  Tell me an Appalachian Ghost Story
Learn about the Sunbonnet Girl, the Ghost of Shoal Creek, and other chilling tales of spirits and spooks as you travel along the dimly lit streets of Brevard. Dress warmly! Tours depart the Museum at 4:30 & 6:00 pm.
